
Flick Stoeckeler is an Australian Visual Artist and Veterinarian based on Kangaroo Island, South Australia.
Flick creates expressive artworks that blend realism with imaginative elements, with a special place in her heart for capturing the personality of dogs.
​Flick's lifelong artistic journey has grown from spending her spare time sketching, to producing custom portraits, logos, murals, and landscapes. She practices across a range of media including digital drawing, watercolour, ink, coloured pencil, and acrylic paints.
Animals and the natural world are a dominant theme in her artwork, as well as in her personal and professional life.​ Flick studied Visual Arts and Crafts through TafeWA in her late teens, followed by Art History, Zoology, and Veterinary Medicine in her 20s. Now in her 30s, she enjoys a softer balance of making art between stints of locum vet work Australia-wide.
​This commitment to both artistic and scientific endeavours has led to the development of a distinctive style characterised by intricate details, anatomical accuracy, fluid dynamics, topography, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.​​​​​​
